It'll make you stop and take notice. Good clean foliage. This lovely native is well adapted to wet soils, so it's a perfect choice for near a pond or stream. The fruit appears in autumn and remains until early spring when the returning birds feast on the showy fruit. Berry Nice makes a great plant for cut arrangements. Planting a male selection in near proximity greatly improves the fruiting of Winterberry. Pollinate with Southern Gentleman or Jim Dandy. SALES TAX: Items shipped to an Illinois address are liable for 6.25% Sales Tax. This includes items shipped to an Illinois address as a gift from out of state. No exceptions. If you are exempt, then a copy of your Illinois resale license is required. There is no Sales tax on shipping charges. SHIPMENT: We try to ship your items within a week of receiving payment. Seeds usually ship within 48 hours. 99% of plant items ship on a Monday or Tuesday. Please note that during peak times in Spring and Fall, shipping may take 7-14 days. We reserve the right to delay shipment if the weather is excessively hot or cold until it moderates. If shipment is to be to a different address, please SPECIFY that address at time of payment. WARRANTY: We do guarantee our plants to arrive at your doorstep alive and healthy plus 90 days for trees and shrubs; and 30 days for herbs and perennials. NOTE: Other than live delivery guarantee, we do not warranty any plant or seed item that is planted outside of the recommended USDA zone.. For example, if you live in zone 9 and purchase a lilac, the warranty is void as they do not survive in zones above USDA zone 8. This warranty does not cover loss by animal damage, flood, fire, drought, theft, or errant lawn equipment. Please keep in mind that both late in the year and in early spring, the plant will most likely be dormant. This does not mean it is dead! Plants in dormancy is the norm during late fall through early spring. We are in USDA Zone 5 and have a real winter here. Please follow care instructions and culture. Some types of plants shipped in the summer may wilt or drop their leaves. This is normal and will grow back. All seeds, plants, and plant materials are sold without any other warranty, express or implied, of any kind and in no case shall Moonshine Designs be liable for more than the original purchase price of any plant item or seeds. Since we cannot control climate and planting conditions, no other warranty is expressed or implied. If, for some reason, your plants should arrive dead, we will replace the plant or refund the amount of the auction win at our option. Proof may be required. We do not refund shipping costs. In some cases, we may ask you to return the plant at our expense. In such a case, it must be packaged properly. LOSS OR DAMAGE: If you should receive a damaged shipment, DO NOT REFUSE DELIVERY. You will NOT receive any credit or adjustment! CONTACT us at once and we will process your claim. Do NOT throw away any packing, the box, contents, or label as the carrier may need it for inspection or salvage. Claims, though rare, are settled quickly if the above instructions are followed. Failure to follow the above can result in a rejected claim. ALL UPS shipments are insured. Most of our combined seed and plant shipments are made through UPS. These are automatically insured. MOST, but not all plant shipments are by UPS. Make sure we have your STREET address as well as any PO Box. UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box. By the way, USPS insurance covers perishable items only if lost in shipment. They do NOT cover damage on perishable items. RETURNS: Returns will NOT be accepted without prior approval and an RMA number. NO EXCEPTIONS. FEEDBACK: We leave feedback on a regular basis. Usually once per week, so don't panic if feedback is not left for you the same day you made payment. If you are pleased, we will also appreciate your positive feedback.. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase upon receipt for some reason, please contact us first!
